Welcome to my first blog post at The Confidante.
It is personality qualities that include thinking very highly of oneself, needing admiration, believing others are inferior and lacking empathy for other people.
That is not where we should stop. The psychological community uses the same definitions to define NPD Narcissistic Personality Disorder which is a mental condition where people have an inflated sense of their own importance, a deep need for excessive attention and admiration, troubled relationships and a lack of empathy for others.
Treatment is Psychotherapy. Would someone with this disorder go to therapy? Think about it? If no therapy, then what happens to those around them?
Waiting for responses from you.
